The Festival of Literary Diversity is accepting applications from Indigenous, Black and racialized applicants for a new FOLD Program Advisory Team (FPAT) — an evolution of our FOLD Planning Team.
FPAT members meet virtually 4-5 times per year and will agree to serve for a two-year term that involves contributing to programming decisions including festival programming, the FOLD Challenge and FOLD Academy. All meetings will take place virtually on Sundays at 7pm ET, but FPAT members are expected to volunteer in-person and/or virtually as well.
While the position involves a two-year commitment, FPAT members who wish to continue after those two years will be eligible to re-apply.
For more information, check out the FPAT Role Description. For those eligible to apply, complete our FPAT Application Form by Friday, August 26.
“The Planning Team has played a critical role in the start-up and the evolution of the festival — which as gone from in-person, to virtual, to multi-modal over the last three years. We are excited to welcome new BIPOC members to the team.” – Jael Richardson, Executive Director
