Founded in 2016 with the launch of the Festival of Literary Diversity, FOLD celebrates extraordinary voices by championing underrepresented authors and storytellers through a range of meaningful festivals and initiatives.
Based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, FOLD reaches local, national and international audiences through accessible programs that celebrate critical voices and advance the future of Canada’s literary landscape.
Each year, FOLD’s two keystone festivals center underrepresented voices and create vibrant spaces—both virtually and in-person—creating meaningful conversations and unforgettable author experiences for readers of all ages.
Canada’s premier celebration of diverse literary voices features a week of author readings, conversations, workshops, and community connections.
Established in 2019, the kid’s festival features a diverse range of children’s literature with author visits, interactive activities for young readers and writerss.
