What is the 2018 Giving Tuesday T-shirt Campaign?
From Tuesday November 20 until end of day (11:59pm) on Giving Tuesday, November 27, 2018, donate $60 or more to the FOLD and you’ll receive a FOLD t-shirt of your choice, mailed to you anywhere in Canada.
How do I make a donation to the FOLD?
You can make a donation through our website by clicking this link. We accept PayPal and credit card payments.
If you do not have a credit card or PayPal, we can take e-mail money transfers. If you would like to make an e-transfer, please contact us at info@thefoldcanada.org for more information.
How much do I have to donate to receive a T-shirt?
For every $60 donation, you are eligible to receive one FOLD t-shirt. So for a donation of $120, you’ll receive two t-shirts, for $180 you can have your choice of three t-shirts, and so on.
What t-shirt options are available?
There are three t-shirt options available, outlined in the graphic above.
- A red t-shirt with the slogan “Books aren’t boring. You are”
- A dark blue t-shirt with the slogan “THIS IS MY READING SHIRT”
- A black t-shirt with the slogan “Bookmarks are for quitters”
What sizes are available?
Each t-shirt comes in S, M, L, XL, and XXL. All t-shirts are available in either unisex or ladies’ sizes.
There is also an XXXL size available in the unisex style.
The ladies’ t-shirts are slightly more fitted and fit small—if you would like a ladies’ size t-shirt, we recommend ordering one size up from what you would normally wear.
Please indicate your preferred shirt TYPE, STYLE, and SIZE in the “special instructions” section of the PayPal window. Please also indicate the address to ship to in this field.
How soon will I receive my FOLD t-shirt?
Our aim is to get all of the t-shirts out to everyone so that they will be received by Christmas. Due to the postal strike, however, we cannot guarantee when the shirts will arrive.
Does the $60 include shipping?
Yes—the $60 includes shipping anywhere in Canada.
