The FOLD is growing! We’re looking for volunteers to join our Planning Team–a group of dedicated volunteers who meet monthly throughout the year to plan the annual Festival of Literary Diversity and related off-season programming events. If you have a passion for books and diversity in literature and think you’d be a good fit for our team, please consider applying.
We are looking for the following volunteer positions:
Admin Coordinator: The FOLD Admin Coordinator will help out with the organization and running of the monthly Planning Meetings, including taking minutes. This position is ideal for someone who is hyper-organized and has a love of books. Read more about the position here.
Accessibility Coordinator: The FOLD works closely with an Accessibility Advisory Committee to help shape accessibility practices at the festival and all of our events. We’re in need of an individual who can help with putting all of their suggestions into practice. Read more about the position here.
Children’s Festival Coordinator: We have something exciting in the works, and we’re looking for an individual who can help out with organizing it! The FOLD Children’s Festival will be a celebration of children’s books taking place in the fall of 2019. Read more about the position here.
