Virtual booths are available for the Festival of Literary Diversity (May) and FOLD Kids Book Fest (November)

  • I'd like to get a booth for your upcoming festival, which are available to sponsors and vendors. What is the difference between a sponsor and a vendor?

    Sponsors make a contribution of $1000 or more to the festival. In return, they receive a number of perks and benefits, including a booth at whichever festival they choose to sponsor. In addition to their booth, guests will see their logo elsewhere in marketing materials. Vendors purchase a booth for the festival of their choice. The process for setting up the booth and being a part of the Exhibit Hall is the same regardless of whether an organization chooses to be a sponsor or a vendor.

  • I can’t commit to a sponsorship, but how can I become a booth vendor?

    There are a limited number of spaces available in the platform, so vendors will need to complete an online application by the set deadline. Confirmation will come as soon as possible in the days following the application deadline.

    For FOLD 2022, the deadline is March 1. Booths will need to be completed by April 1, 2022.

  • What is the cost of a vendor booth?

    Prices vary slightly by festival but booths run between $120 and $200. A booth is included in all sponsor packages at no additional cost.

  • What is required of organizations who have a booth at the Exhibit Hall?

    Organizations with a booth at the festival (sponsors or vendors) will need to follow a simple six-step process to design a booth on the backend of the platform. Organizations can choose the layout of the booth and their avatar.

    In addition, to the booth, organizations will need to assign booth reps to staff the booth for live chat on our open marketplace day – which typically falls on the first Saturday or Sunday of the festival.

  • What features are available on the virtual booth?

    There are so many features that we haven’t used them all! Organizations can post videos and they can provide pdf documents for attendees to add to their tote bags. They can conduct live chats with 1-50 people via text or via video. While there is no shopping function on the platform, they can use their booth or the menu under their booth to direct attendees to a page or shopping cart on their own website.

  • When do booths need to be complete?

    Generally, booths need to be completed one month before the festival’s opening day. Apply to be a vendor at FOLD 2022. Deadline is March 1, 2022.
