The FOLD has moved all events previously scheduled at Brampton Library Four Corners branch to PAMA in order to better accommodate the needs of all of our guests. In addition, the Brampton Library has decided to reveal their One Book One Brampton shortlist at their 160th anniversary event on Thursday, May 17.
The OBOB event was previously scheduled to close out the festival, which will now end with the much-anticipated CBC After Canada Reads panel, featuring award-winning author Cherie Dimaline and debut novelists Sharon Bala and Omar El Akkad in conversation with Canada Reads host Ali Hassan – who will all be available for autographs as we close out another phenomenal year of diverse, Canadian voices.
We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion these changes cause, and we look forward to celebrating books and reading at the festival this weekend…or at the library year-round.
Sincerely,
Jael Richardson
Artistic Director, The Festival of Literary Diversity
