Virtual Events + Educator Resources
FOLD Kids Book Fest virtual events provide students and educators with direct access to a diverse array of incredible authors and storytellers who present storytime readings, writing and art workshops, workshops and evening events geared to educators, and other engaging activities in our interactive virtual clubhouse. Events are organized by the following age categories:
- Primary (Kindergarten – Grade 3)
- Junior (Grades 4-6)
- Intermediate (Grades 6-8)
- Teens (Grades 9-11)
- Educator Workshops and Evening Panels
Age categories are suggested based on reading material and should serve as a general guideline only; events may have crossover appeal.
Educator Resources
In addition to our events, the virtual clubhouse includes an exhibit hall and a library full of helpful supplemental materials for the classroom. The clubhouse also includes a leaderboard where passholders can earn a range of prizes and a scavenger hunt where students can seek out fun objects.
To support educators, the FOLD produces an annual Educator Guide which includes pre- and post-questions, suggested activities, and author profiles for all virtual events.
