FOLD Kids Book Fest will take place November 1-5, 2023. Free events on November 3-4 — outlined below — will be held at the Brampton Library.

Music & Movement at Gore Meadows - November 3
A special Caribbean-themed interactive music and dance program based on two picture books: Malaika, Carnival Queen by Nadia L. Hohn and C is for Carnival by Yolanda T. Marshall. This event, designed for parents and young children, develops physical coordination, social skills, and creative expression, and is presented in cooperation with BridgeWay Family Centre and FOLD Kids Book Fest. Designed for kids 0-6 years old.
This event is designed for children ages 0-6. All events at the Brampton library are free.
Come Read with Me: A Storytime Pajama Party - November 3
Our annual Come Read with Me: A Storytime Pajama Party event is back — this time at four Brampton Library branches.
Come in your pajamas and bring your favourite stuffie as you listen to some of our favourite picture books read by special guests in our annual read-a-loud evening of storytelling held at four Brampton Library branches: Gore Meadows, Springdale and South Fletcher’s.
This event is ideal for children ages 0-10 and doesn’t require registration. All events at the Brampton library are free.
Community Day - November 4
Enjoy live readings and performances, and take part in art, cooking and writing workshops designed for kids of all ages at the Gore Meadows Community Centre and Library (10150 The Gore Rd, Brampton, ON L6P 0A6). Meet authors of picture books and chapter books, and enjoy drop-in activities, including our annual Teen Spoken Word Showcase hosted by The Wild Woman.
