The Picture Book Challenge is designed for children who enjoy illustrations, read-aloud stories, and new reader adventures.
Throughout the summer, participants can track their reading, complete fun activities, and discover recommended picture books by authors and illustrators from a wide range of cultures, communities, and experiences. The program encourages kids to “travel” through stories, explore different perspectives, and connect with characters and worlds beyond their own.
