The Chapter Book Challenge is designed to help readers get ready to dive into longer stories with the occasional illustration (unless it’s a graphic novel!) and is filled with stories of adventure, mystery, friendship, fantasy, and more. These types of readers are usually called Early Readers.
Throughout the summer, participants can track their reading, complete activities, and discover recommended books by authors from a wide range of cultures, communities, and experiences. The program is designed to help kids “travel” through stories, explore different perspectives, and connect with characters and worlds beyond their own.
