The Middle Grade Challenge is designed for readers ready to dive into longer, text only stories (unless it’s a graphic novel) filled with adventure, mystery, friendship, fantasy, and more.
Throughout the summer, participants track their reading, complete activities, and discover recommended books by authors from a wide range of cultures, communities, and experiences. The program is designed to help kids “travel” through stories, explore different perspectives, and connect with characters and worlds beyond their own.
