The Festival of Literary Diversity is Canada’s first festival devoted to the work of marginalized and underrepresented authors and storytellers and takes place annually in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
As in-person events remain unsafe and social distancing regulations and travel restrictions remain in place across Canada, the FOLD planning team delivered its 2021 festival on a unique virtual platform that allowed participants to gather, chat and view events for the entire month of May.
This year’s festival included four exciting series in addition to our School Group Events: The Mood Series, the Writer’s Workshop Series, the Romance Track, and a special slate of Feature Events that included interviews with authors like Eden Robinson, Ben Philippe, Trey Anthony, Nadine Matheson, Sonali Dev and more. Festival attendees have access to live panel conversations, writing workshops, publishing discussions, poetry events, a celebrity cooking show, and so much more from May 1 – 15. Attendees also have access to all festival sessions in replay mode up until June 15.
Individual all-access passes for all festival events are $39. This year, we’ve added an opportunity to bundle all-access passes with our 5 for $175 option.
Recordings from all of the festival events, including a special library of pre-recorded events from festival partners, will be available to watch and re-watch until June 15.
